Midnight's Grasp

Starting off Wave 1 of the Midnight's Nectar Photography Portfolio is a piece titled: "Midnight's Grasp"; a piece that takes the precision of color and shape of my previous incarnations of my Graphic Design portfolios, into a freeform, loose streetlight shot, of cars going by at midnight, along the streets of Boston, Massachusetts. This is being played out across the street from the MassArt (Massachusetts College of Art) Tower Building.

Photographed with my Nikon D7000, Gitzo Tripod, and exclusively edited on my iPad mini 2 running Mextures, the only app I used to make all of these 91 pieces of work.

This photography portfolio wouldn't have existed without the love and support of my family, especially my grandparents, and my late grandfather on my mom's side; Randy Swanburg, died on March 31st. 2017 93 years young, full of spirit, and love.

Love that made this portfolio possible.

The 8th installment in Wave 1 of the Midnight's Nectar Photography Portfolio is a piece titled: “A Long Way Down”; a piece I photographed with the idea of this being the final design for the 3rd Studio Album Cover for Teleport Station. The name of the album changed to the name of the photograph, and as the 3rd Studio Album was going to be “A Long Way Down” now changed to “Electronic Alchemy” the photograph transferred to this portfolio.

This image was edited in Mextures to try and shape and form the contours of light and fluffy clouds billowing around this person in a 1-person Hot Air Balloon.
